Effective 7 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and InCodeWeSpeak®, a sole proprietorship based in California, United States ("we", "us"), which operates ViewScale. By creating an account, joining a computer to a Space, or otherwise using ViewScale, you agree to them. If you use ViewScale for an organisation, you agree to them on its behalf and confirm you may. Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle information.
ViewScale lets people and AI agents reach computers remotely: to see and control the screen, hear its sound, chat with whoever is at it, move files, run commands and open tunnels, as each Space's roles and Policies allow. A computer takes part by running the ViewScale Machine, either as a temporary session that ends when its window closes, or installed as a service. The ViewScale Bridge connects other programs on your own computer to it.
You may connect only to computers you own or are authorised to access, and only for purposes their owner and users have agreed to. You must not:
A temporary session asks the person at the computer before it starts. Do not trick anyone into allowing it.
Agents you connect act with the access you and your Space's Policies give them. Their actions are your responsibility: review what they may do, and check their work. AI agents can make mistakes.
What you and your computers send through ViewScale stays yours. You give us only the permission needed to carry, store and process it to provide the service. Session contents are encrypted end to end and we cannot read them.
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the ViewScale Machine and the ViewScale Bridge to use the service. An installed Machine updates itself to each new release we publish. Third-party components are used under their own licences, listed on the About page. Do not copy, modify, or reverse engineer them except as those licences or the law allow.
We may change, add or remove features. We work to keep ViewScale available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, and we may take it down for maintenance.
You can stop using ViewScale at any time, delete your Spaces, and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms or puts others or the service at risk, and will tell you where we can. Sections 5 and 10 to 13 continue after access ends.
ViewScale is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or business. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 100 US dollars. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
You will defend and compensate us for claims arising from your use of ViewScale in breach of these terms or of the law, including connecting to a computer without permission.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the state and federal courts located in California, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing here takes away rights consumer law gives you where you live.
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with its date and, for a significant change, tell account holders by email before it applies. Continuing to use ViewScale after that means you accept it.
